Employers Expand Focus On Well-being

As U.S. companies grow increasingly concerned about the financial well-being of their workforce, employers are looking for new ways to improve the long-term financial health of their employees in 2014, says a survey by Aon Hewitt. It found 76 per cent of companies surveyed are somewhat or very likely to expand their focus on the financial well-being of their employees in 2014. Among the step companies are planning to take in 2014 are providing help to manage budgets and offering tools and resources to improve saving and investing decisions. This will be done through a number of channels including online access to third-party investment advisory services, access to third-party financial advisors via phone, and face-to-face meetings with financial advisors. They also plan to continue to offer options to provide workers with a simple and straightforward approach to investing.
