Wellness And Organization Vitality Linked


A strong link exists between the wellness and vitality of an organization and the health and wellness of its employees, says a survey from Virgin HealthMiles Inc. This link results in increased employee job morale, satisfaction, commitment, and performance. Additionally, employees were found to place a premium on the culture of wellness, with 87 per cent claiming that health and wellness programs play a role in determining their employer of choice. As well, incentives play a big role in motivating employees to participate in wellness programs. Sixty-one per cent of employees said they are a key reason they participate and 78 per cent claimed they are interested in participating in incentive-based programs while at work.
