Mortgages Being Carried Into Retirement

Almost a third (32%) of Canadians will likely still have their mortgage when they retire, says a Bank of Nova Scotia poll. However, one-third (34%) say they will be relying on their home equity to support them in retirement. It also shows two-thirds (69%) report owning a home with 40% living mortgage-free.
